Quoting from the article:

"A rally was held outside City Hall in June, aimed at persuading Mayor Mitch Reynolds to veto the measure. That, however, came a day late, as Reynolds had already signed it."

^^^ FACT CHECKING ^^^

NOT TRUE!  According to the City Clerk, Ordinances passed by the council AUTOMATICALLY go into effect 24 hours after publication (2nd Saturday after passage) irrelevant of the mayor's signature.  His signing the Ordinance DID NOT cause it to go into effect any sooner.  He had until 5pm on the Tuesday after the council voted to veto the Ordinance no matter his signature on the Ordinance a day earlier or not.

In addition, please stop framing this as a sexuality/gender issue.  It's NOT.  This is 100% about the council attempting to adopt an Ordinance that is unconstitutional - PERIOD.

THANK YOU!  This issue is ONLY about violating the Constitution!  We will not allow the city of La Crosse to violate the Constitution.  What?  Do people in La Crosse - Wisconsin - USA disagree with that?

That is the only question.
